広島の日再び

地元の平和グループの人たちに呼ばれて、また今年もスピーチをやった。川のそばで、灯篭流しならぬ、花を一本ずつみんなで流す前に読み上げたものー記録のために。

When President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize last year, I emailed him asking him to visit Hiroshima to show his commitment to world peace. I also wrote to the mayor of Hiroshima asking him to invite President Obama to Hiroshima when the president visited Japan last fall.
Today, August 6, for the first time in 65 years, finally a US government official, Ambassador to Japan Jogh Roos, attended the memorial ceremony in Hiroshima.
I am glad to see that this country, the first and last user of atomic bombs in war, finally assumed its responsibility to pay tribute to the victims.
This is not a political issue. This is not a historical issue. This is a human issue.
I sincerely hope that citizens and leaders of the entire world can overcome their egos and work together for the total elimination of nuclear weap[ons. thank you.
＊＊面白かったのは、私たちのグループが、集合場所から川へ、それからキャンパスへと通りを行進？しているあいだ、大きな星条旗をもった男が二人、ずっとあとをつけてきたことである。帰還軍人に間違いない。一人は、制服・制帽をかぶっていた。集合場所の向かいでは、あと４人ほどがプラカードをもって立っていて、We support US troopsとか書いてあった。this is not a political issue, This is not a historical issue, This is human issueなんだよ。。バッカ（笑）
日本からのニュースでは、相変わらず原爆投下を、We did not start the warと言って正当化するアメリカ人の絵を出していた。そうでしょ、そうでしょ。すべてはpaternalism なのである。アメリカという国、アメリカ人は、自分に挑戦してくる人間を、国を憎悪するのである。それだけのことだ。真珠湾攻撃をやって、自分たちに挑戦してきた国を、ようし、やり返してやろうじゃないか、どっちが力をもってると思ってるねん、とことん思い知らせてやる、とそれだけのことである。勝つためには手段は選ばない。職場のバカ女も同じだった。（笑）私は、あの女に、飴ちょうだい、と尻尾を振らなかった。それが気に入らなかったのである。こっちは、言われた仕事はきっちりしても、お前みたいなアホを誰が相手にするか、と、あの女の肩書きに挑戦していたから、それが態度に出ていたろう。それで、網膜に穴があくまで、いじめられ、叩かれた。でも、竹槍を持ち出してきているつもりで、とことん戦ってやった（笑）
オバマさんは、核兵器削減を打ち出して、ノーベル平和賞をもらったが、きのう見た日本の番組によると、要は、核兵器と通常兵器とのバランスの問題とか。ロシアは通常兵器のレベルが下がり、核兵器に頼らざるを得ないが、アメリカは、通常兵器のレベルがあがって、核に頼らなくてもいいから、今のうちに核を削減できれば、アメリカの優位は維持できるというもくろみがあるという。笑ってしまった。しょせん、自分がいつも一番でいたいという国益という名の一番病のエゴが動機である。広島よ、長崎よ、がんばれ。。。
”人道”では勝てない、結果を出すための戦略だけがものを言うとは思うけれど、私も言ってしまった、This is not a political issue. This is not a historical issue. This is a human issue. （笑）ほんとは、すべてがThis is a POLITICAL issue である。（悲）
