2014/11/29(土) 戦え!!!!まじで。。(笑)
アサヒドットコムで、自分の勤め先が「ブラック企業」だと思いながら、誰にも相談しないでいる人が全体の半数近くにのぼる――。
誰かに相談したことがあるか、との問いには「相談したことがない」が46・8%を占めた。相談相手は「家族」「友人」がそれぞれ3割を超える一方、「勤務先の労働組合」は0・9%だった。連合は平日午前9時から午後5時までフリーダイヤル(0120・154・052)で労働相談を受けている。(佐藤秀男)というニュースを読んだ。なんで、友人や家族に相談する?? ていよく我慢するように”なぐさめられる”だけではないのか。ありきたりのきれいごとの言葉を並べられて、しょせん堂々めぐりである。自分の状況を具体的に変えていくには、具体的な知識が必要となる。法律は自分をどこまで、どういう風に守ってくれるか知らねばならぬ。少なくとも、アメリカは具体的に抗議することは当然とされるから、また抗議した。(怒笑)もしこれができなかったら、そして私が銃をもっていたら、あの男を撃ちに店に戻っていたと思う。撃ち殺してやる、と思いながら、以下のメールをターゲットのホームページに送った。死ね、あの男!!!というわけで、このあいだの日米のあいだで腹をくくる話だが、日本へ帰ろうかな、と考えている。戦うエネルギーがなくなって、ただただバカにされることを我慢しなければならない生活が待っているなら、アメリカになんかいる必要がない。それに、銃があったらあの男を撃ち殺してやる、みたいに考えさせるこの社会がいやになってきたのである。あんな男、撃ち殺して、私が刑務所に入るだけの価値はさらさらないのに。ああ、ばかたらし。。。

I want to report an incident that happened to me, a tall Asian woman, yesterday afternoon at 3:35 PM, November 28th, "Black Friday", at the DeKalb/Sycamore Illinois Target store. I went in to buy a bookcase, found the right one, and got in line to pay. As the line was very long, Daniel, a young white man, opened cash register number 11 and began helping customers. The first customer he served was a white woman with her daughter.

Daniel was very friendly with them, taking a lot of time to chat with them about the games they were buying. I was next in line, but he paid no attention to me, and instead began scanning the items on the belt belonging to the next customer. The bookcase I wanted to buy was standing at the card scanner because it was too heavy to put up on the belt.

After he finished scanning the next customer's items, Daniel asked her if the bookcase was hers. She answered him "No, it's not mine," twice. I was standing right in front of him, but Daniel ignored me completely, treating me as if I was just some crazy woman standing in front of the register with nothing to buy. This is both insulting and humiliating to me.

After the person behind me twice said that the bookcase was not hers, Daniel finally noticed me and asked "Is it yours?", pointing at the bookcase. I answered "Yes" and he let me pay for it. The next customer's items were already bagged and at the far end of the register counter. When he handed me the receipt, Daniel only said "Here you go." He did not apologize for ignoring and skipping me.

I was so upset by his arrogant, racist attitude that I went directly to customer service and filled out a complaint card. And although I left the store with my purchase, I changed my mind on the way home, as I don't want to have to relive this experience every time I look at that bookcase. I went back to the store and returned the bookcase.

The young white man at customer service was nice and told me "I'm sorry" when I reported the experience. I will never return to that Target store, but I believe that Target needs to better train employees on how to fairly and courteously treat ALL customers.
